David Porter tutors math in Marin County, CA. He helps grade school students on up to students in college. David will assess in which content areas the student's skill set needs to be strengthened and will provide plenty of problems specific to those areas. College Board breaks up the content of the SAT into four main categories: Heart of Algebra, Passport to Advanced Math, Problem Solving and Data Analysis, and Additional Topics in Math. These categories are further broken down into forty-one more specific content areas. Not only will students get plenty of practice with the math they need to know on the SAT test, but will also learn how to apply David's strategies which they will learn. These strategies help the student to out-smart the test and save time. David works with the student to develop an ability to work efficiently and quickly through the SAT. Students will be delighted to see their scores go up as they put in some hard work along with David's thoughtful and patient coaching.
